Playing with baby nursery decor is Lots of FUN and Easier than you may think. Now I'm not the most Creative person....but I have to admit I was truly surprised how quickly I was able to transform a bland Boring nursery into something Fantasmagorical. IF there is such a word.
"How do I Avoid "Over-Doing It?"
The key, for those of us who need a little push, is to choose from a line of decor that has matching border and curtains. I use to be a housekeeper and believe me when I say..."I've seen it ALL!" Some OVER DID IT by buying ALL "MATCHING" Everything. The key to tasteful decorating is a few matching items in the room Accented by maybe a solid color lamp shade that picks up One of the colors, in lets say, the curtain and border print. Don't be scared to let your "inner self" come out in your decorating.

"What Will Baby Think?"
I spend Lots of Quality time with my baby, and...many an hour is spent in her nursery. She gazes up at the ceiling and all around, taking in...LIFE. Developing her thoughts and personality. Probably planning her career. What better way to encourage Creative development than to surround your baby in exciting baby room decor.
Make your baby's room POP! I think every baby giggles just a Little Bit more when surrounded by Fun and Interesting baby room wall decor. Besides, I must say I get a little out of it too when my family visits are full of smiles. Even I turned the empty nursery wall into a "conversation piece" in just a few hours. I didn't think I could do it! But there it is!
"What Accessories Should I Buy?"
Like I said before, don't go Crazy buying up Every "Matching" thing you see. For instance, I LOVE Drawer Knobs. They have got to be the most Popular, Conversation Igniting topic of the room. But again, I only have them on the dresser. If you have a larger room that allows for furniture to be spaced out a bit you can get away with more drawer knobs.
"Specialties"
Another favorite baby nursery decor item is the Personalized Wall art that I had made up with her name on it. My husband on the other hand, is a BIG kid...so I got him a Personalized wall clock.
